Below are some of the questions that are common asked by visitors. If you have any questions but cannot find your answers here about my service, please do not hesitate to write to me.

Is Banaue always cold?

Not really. The summer months from March to May are usually warmer.

Do I need to provide a deposit?

This will depends on the cost of your trip and your itinerary. If in the event that a deposit is not needed, I do hope you will honor your promise.

In certain circumstances, a deposit is mandatory.

I do seek your kind understanding about this as there are many instances where customers do not turn up and we will lose our days of earning and maybe even the transport rental cost.

Do you offer pickup service from Manila?
 

Yes I do. For this, you will need to pay a mandatory deposit by Western Union.

 

However this option is not always available and honestly speaking, it does not come cheap too. This option will be good for those wants flexibility in your itinerary and those who arrive early in Manila and want to proceed to Banaue immediately to save precious holiday time.

Do you accept Paypal or credit card?

​Sorry we do not. As Banaue has very limited banking services, we will only accept cash payment in Banaue.

As for deposits, Banaue has a Western Union Branch so you can transfer your deposit using Western Union services.

Are all the treks very difficult and I need good stamina for it?

No. Some treks are easy. If you do not want to trek too much, we can walk around the rice terraces to have a different view. 

Not all treks require days of walking. Some can be done with a day trip out of Banaue.

Can you purchase the return bus ticket to Manila?

​Sorry but we do not provide such service. The reason is to let the passenger to choose their own seats (if possible) and also maybe during the journey, you decide to change your itinerary to lengthen or cut short your travel. So we prefer customer to buy their own tickets.

When is the best time to visit Banaue?

The best time to visit is usually the non-typhoon season which is usually November to May.

Are you a certified guide in Banaue?

Yes I am certified by the Department of Tourism.

I begin guiding visitors even before I am certified. I did not get certified initially due to some personal issues. I have visitors that have used my service before and after I am certified.
